Sharing and Collaborating with Colleagues

Parts-in-Place allows multiple users – such as colleagues within an organization – to share their data in the system. This is done by inviting other users into your Parts-in-Place account.

Inviting Other Users

To invite another user into your account, click Invite Colleague. This will change the view to a new screen where you will be asked to enter one or more emails of people whom you would like invite into your projects. Once the emails are entered, click Send the invitation, and the system will send out the invitation emails.

Each invitation email contains a special encrypted link that will connect the new user to your account in Parts-in-Place.

Understanding Access Level

Keep in mind that the users you invite into your Parts-in-Place account will have full, unrestricted access to your data.
